This exhibition explores the Lethbridge neighbourhood surrounding 6 Avenue A Street, capturing the journey from my grandparents' home to the old grocery store, then to the Edith Cavell Care Centre, and back. Through a deeply personal lens, the work pays homage to my grandparents—immigrants from Wassenaar, the Netherlands—who settled here after World War II. The paintings celebrate small-town Alberta life, rooted in stories of immigration, gardening, and community.
